Rich and lovely, dark, mysterious and ancient black fruits... captures the essence of local earth expression, a wine with soul and worth discussion.

“Huge, tannic, incredibly young for its age, this is a meat lover’s wine. The nose is deep, dark, showing plum, tar, licorice, and tobacco. Huge tannins run throughout a layered palate with plum, licorice, and tar, with black cherry showing the mid-palate. Nothing short of a ribeye could possibly tame this lovely beast. Highly recommended.”

Superb !

We bought in summer 2015 from Moretti Omero in Montefalco a number of cases of Rosso DOC and Sagrantino DOCG ==> Phenomenal! In particular the Sagrantino is a bomb of taste. Do not forget to try the olive oil as well. So make sure to visit this place when you are around
